All About Mascara
Many models have been quoted as saying if they could use only one makeup item, mascara would be it.Proper mascara application brightens the eyes and gives them a lift. This gives the eyes their expressiveness. To Apply Mascara:
~~To make your lashes appear thicker, powder them lightly. Then, mascara them.
~~Apply mascara to bottom lashes first -- this avoids extra clean up. Starting at the base of lash and brushing to the end of lash. Work outside to inside on bottom lashes, inside to outside on top lashes.
~~Look straight ahead when applying mascara, not up or down.
~~Replace your mascara every 3 to 6 months due to bacteria build-up in the applicator.
~~Avoid injury -- don't apply mascara while driving or sitting in a moving car.
~~Don't push air into the wand by pumping the brush in and out.
